When Helene was a young girl,
Living in the family house in Saint-Romuald
Near Quebec City,
She developed her sense for visual arts.
Her inspiration was the St.Lawrence River
Large and gorgeous
As well as the influence of her mother
That was a painter from time to time.
She studied stage design at the
Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Québec
And at age 21, came in Montreal and lives here since.
She works for Radio-Canada as a makeup artist
And since 2005 she paints on a regular basis.
With her brushes and her subtle color palette
She reveals beauty on the canvas: a poem to be seen.
Helene Tremblay paints with the emotions of her heart;
A very personal sensibility to the St. Lawrence River landscape.
Until October 14th
